Specialist Criminal Law practitioner.

Ian Ibrahim has specialised in Criminal Law since being called to the Bar. Initially a tenant at Francis Taylor Building (now 4 Breams Buildings) in London, Ian also practised in Trinidad and Tobago for four years, where he was admitted to practice in 2003 and remains a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Bar. He also practiced from Temple Chambers Cardiff for four years.
Ian's practice is primarily defence-based, but he is also an experienced prosecutor, receiving instructions from SERCO, SOCA, RCPO and other agencies.

R v Bye (2009): the only case in England and Wales in which a conviction for various serious sexual offences including rape was based entirely on photographic evidence
R v Holland (2009): conveying List A articles into prison. Appealed on basis of Public Importance.
Operation Furan (2009): defence in conspiracy to supply Class A drugs:- Police sting operation.
R v Thamaraja (2008): (firearms, aggravated burglary, s18, witness intimidation,) Isleworth/Blackfriars Crown Court
R v O'Driscoll (2008): Cardiff Crown (death by dangerous driving)
