Lowri read Law at the University of Wales Aberystwyth and obtained an Upper Second Class Honours. She successfully completed the Bar Vocational Course at the City Law School, London and was called to the Bar by Gray's Inn in 2010.

Lowri joined Angel Chambers in September 2011 after the successful completion of her pupillage with Geraint Walters. Although Lowri's pupil supervisor is a Criminal practitioner, Lowri had the opportunity to shadow members of the Civil and Family teams at court as well as undertaking research and paperwork in all three areas.

Lowri is a fluent Welsh speaker and undertook several of her LLB modules through the medium of Welsh including Criminal Law, Contract Law, Land Law and Equity and Trusts. Lowri is willing to accept instructions in both Welsh and English.

Crime
Lowri accepts instructions from both the Prosecution and Defence. She is experienced at conducting trials in the Magistrates Court and regularly appears in the Crown Court in matters ranging from Bail Applications, breaches and Sentencing hearings to contested Appeal and Newton hearings, and representing third parties in disclosure hearings relating to Public Interest Immunity. Lowri has experience of dealing with Young Offenders in the Youth Court. She is regularly instructed by SERCO Monitoring to prosecute hearings and trials in relation to breaches of the electronic monitoring requirement of curfew orders. Lowri has also prosecuted on behalf of the Department of Work and Pensions in relation to benefit offences.

Civil
Lowri accepts instructions in all areas of Civil Litigation. She regularly represents both Claimant's and Defendant's in Small Claim's hearings and acts in a range of applications from Infant Approvals, Bankruptcy and Possession hearings to Striking out and applications for Summary Judgement. Lowri also appears before the Social Entitlement (Benefits) Tribunal. As well as appearing in court Lowri accepts instructions to draft or advise on papers.

Employment
Lowri represents both the Applicant and Respondent in all types of Employment disputes. She accepts instructions in drafting and has experience of contested trials at the Employment Tribunal.

Family
Lowri accepts instructions on behalf of both Applicant's and Respondent's in both Private and Public Law matters. She has experience of conducting hearings in relation to residence and contact as well as ancillary relief matters such as Financial Dispute resolution hearings.

Previous Experience
During University vacations Lowri worked as a Court Logger at the Crown Court in Cardiff for four years which fuelled her interest in Criminal Law. During her time in London Lowri volunteered as a Legal Advisor at the Fulham Law Centre. She dealt with clients with cases in a wide range of areas such as Landlord and Tennant, Contract, Family, Employment, Immigration and Personal Injury.
