Glenda is a specialist Family Practitioner with over 14 years experience in Public and Private Law Children Act proceedings.

Glenda was called to the Bar in 2002 and joined Chambers in 2003, after successful completion of her pupillage.

Practice areas

Family law

Glenda has developed a busy and successful practice across South, East and West Wales and is regularly instructed in all aspects of Public and Private Law work.

Glenda also undertakes work under the Family Law Act for injunctive relief, including non-molestation and occupation order applications.

Glenda undertakes work in all tiers of the Family Court and has appeared in the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

Glenda is a fluent Welsh speaker and has experience of conducting cases in the Welsh language.

Public

Glenda’s Public Law practice includes care and placement proceedings, including cases where there are serious allegations of abuse, including non-accidental injury and cases where there is complex medial evidence. Glenda is also instructed in applications to discharge care orders and adoption applications.

Private

Glenda’s Private Law practice includes all aspects of child arrangements applications, specific issue and prohibited steps applications. Glenda also deals with applications for special guardianship, cases where relocation within the jurisdiction of England and Wales is being considered and cases of removal outside of the jurisdiction.
