Called to the Bar 2002 - Lincoln's Inn

Lucy undertook the BVC at Cardiff Law School where she was the top female student. During her time on the BVC Lucy was awarded the Lincoln's Inn Buchanan Prize, the Kalisher Scholarship and the Lord Peter Millett Scholarship.

Area of Practice - Family and Employment

Before joining Chambers in 2005, Lucy spent 18 months working for a specialist Legal Expenses Insurance company, advising on all aspects of civil law before her appointment as an Employment Consultant.

Lucy's employment practice includes both Applicant and Respondent work with a particular emphasis on Unfair Dismissal and Capability Dismissals. As a result of her previous experience she also receives instructions in all areas of civil litigation.

Lucy has quickly established a family practice dealing with Children Act applications (both public and private) as well as applications under the Family Law Act and enforcement proceedings. In addition, she undertakes work in the area of public interest immunity, injunctive relief and matrimonial finance.
